What is the most postive experience you have had at your internship this far?

  1. It was a slow day, and a patient had just cancelled so some of the assistants and I had time to kill. I just recently became certified to take x-ray. One of the assistants offered her mouth for me to practice taking x-rays on. I didn't know much of what I was doing and I made her mouth bleed. I thought it was great that she had done that for me and helped me learn, even though she was in pain.

  2. So far the most positive experience I've had has been to observe Mrs. Gray as she has been teaching. I always thought you had to always be super nice to the kids and use very light management, but watching her I have seen that being firm and almost harsh is actually good for learning and management. It's been super cool.

  3. So far the most positive experience I have been through has been being able to go in and see a little child who is very very sick and comes back the next week healthy because of what we had done. Great feeling.

  4. The most positive experience I have had so far is when a student i tutor comes up to me and says something about how awesome or fun I am. It really makes me feel good especially when some other students like to be pains. Just hearing compliments from Mr. Ward or the students really helps me feel like I'm doing something right.

  5. The most positive experience I have had so far has been the patients thinking that I am a part of the AOS staff. They ask me questions about their bodies, how to get a hold of certain doctors, and so much more. I love being treated like I am already a professional in the medical field.

  6. The most positive experience I have had was the I was able to polish some patients teeth. It was the first opportunity I had to work directly with the patient. It was a really cool experience to learn and practice a skill that is used often in the dental field.

  7. probably the most positive experience i have had at superior computers is the first few weeks i was working there. i was building my first computer for them and when i finished the process. one of the employees pat me on the back and said i was the first intern they have had to do it on the first try. made me pretty proud of what i could do.

  8. The most positive experience I have had is being able to follow the other doctors that work there. They have broadened my view on the job and gave me some really good advice.

  10. The best experience that I have had in my intern was when everything clicked. I was pretty confused for a while about what to do and I was afraid that I wasn't doing anything right. But one day, after checking the weight, height, and temperature, the nurse let me do a kid's blood pressure and check his heart rate, and then she checked it, and she told me that I had done everything right.

  11. The most positive experience I've had was when I stayed at the office all day (spring break/no school)and I had the chance to actually be one of his assistant's for the day. It was way fun.

  12. The most positive thing I have done at my internship was directing the kindergarteners opera. It was really fun to see them get so excited for something and watching them preform was super cute.

  13. The other day, the teacher allowed me to teach part of the class and it was really cool to interact with the students that way and I learned a lot from it.

  14. One day PJ was missing one of his assistants because she was sick. So I helped with cleaning up the rooms and taking x-rays. I realized that I had learned a lot about what goes on in a dentist office.

  15. The most positive experience that I have had at my internship has been receiving tasks from Dave or someone else, and then seeing them through to the end. It gives me a sense of accomplishment doing little things for them that make their lives easier!

  16. The day that sticks out as being the most positive for me was the day I was asked to do spelling with the kids. I went to the front of the classroom, read off the 25 spelling words for that week, and had to create a sentence for each one while the kids wrote down the word. It was a positive experience because there were some words I didn't know the meaning of but the students did and so they all helped me create sentences for those words! Plus I got to learn something new that day!
